This post is based within the School of Medicine, Medical Sciences and Nutrition (SMMSN), located on the Foresterhill Health Campus. The postholder will work closely with the Director of Education and Education Manager to oversee and manage all administrative operations required for the delivery of the MBChB programme and provide senior administrative support to the anatomy to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.

This role is responsible for the operational delivery of education administration relating to the MBChB programme. The postholder will manage a team of professional services staff and ensure the smooth running of the administrative functions relating to this programme including, but not limited to, teaching, assessment, quality processes and student experience. They may also be involved in matters regarding quality assurance, accreditation, curriculum development, and international partnerships.  They will provide high-level administrative support to the Anatomy team, working alongside the Anatomy lead to ensure smooth co-ordination of teaching delivery, facilities management, regulatory compliance and liaison with academic and technical staff.

The post holder will work proactively to ensure operational excellence, effective communication, robust planning and continuous improvement across both portfolios.

The successful candidate will either be educated to degree level or have significant and equivalent level of experience.  They will possess extensive expertise in higher education administration, ideally within medical or professional programmes. They will knowledge of programme delivery processes, quality assurance, regulatory compliance and experience in staff management. A proven ability to contribute to operational planning is essential and the ability to contribute to strategic planning is desirable.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 6 scale, £38,784 - £46,049 per annum, and negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience.
