Shape the Future of Quality at LCCA
London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA), part of Global University Systems, is seeking an experienced Compliance, Audit & Standards Manager to strengthen our quality assurance environment and support the delivery of consistent, high-quality academic standards across the College.
Reporting to the Director of Quality Assurance, this is a pivotal role at an important stage in LCCA’s development. You will lead on compliance and audit activity, while helping to embed a culture where quality is clearly understood, effectively managed, and central to student success.
The Role
This role combines operational leadership with strategic influence. You will take ownership of compliance across the student lifecycle, leading audits that identify gaps, drive improvements and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and expectations.
Alongside this, you will play a key role in refining and strengthening quality processes across the College. This includes oversight of core activities such as validation, monitoring, assessment boards, external examining and academic governance. You will be pivotal in bringing greater clarity and consistency to how these processes are understood and applied across different departments.
You will also contribute to enhancing student outcomes by supporting the development of robust quality frameworks aligned to B1, B2 and B3 conditions.
Working closely with colleagues across academic and professional service areas, you will act as a trusted advisor, helping to build confidence in quality practices and encouraging a more collaborative approach. You will line manage a small team, supporting their development and fostering a positive, solutions-focused culture.
Additionally, you will support engagement with regulatory bodies and play an active role in preparing for audits, reviews and inspections.
About You
You will bring strong experience of quality assurance and regulatory compliance within higher education sector, with a sound understanding of OfS QAA, OIA and the UK Quality Code. You will be comfortable leading audits, interpreting complex regulatory requirements and applying them in a practical, effective way.
You are someone who combines attention to detail with sound judgement, and who is confident working across teams to influence and improve practice. Experience of managing and developing others is important, as is the ability to navigate a fast-paced, evolving environment with a pragmatic and solutions-focused approach.
