Are you a skilled research or policy professional, keen to support excellence in engagement and impact from research?

About the role

You will work closely with the Senior Research Environment, Culture and Impact Manager to undertake research, analysis and provide co-ordination and administration activities, with particular focus on the policy engagement of Plymouth’s research. You will provide support by arranging external speakers, workshops, and coaching sessions, maintaining and enhancing in-house toolkits and online materials, and supporting the allocation of internal funding schemes.

You will:

  • Proactively identifying external opportunities
  • Horizon scanning, campaign planning and content scheduling
  • Copyediting
  • Deliver a programme of key events
  • Work with researchers to support their policy engagement priorities.

The portfolio of projects this post will support will be in response to the needs of the University or driven by external requirements, and may include ensuring compliance with funder regulations, and contributing to the next Research Excellence Framework submission.

For this role, you will need to be on site 2 days a week. Although we can accommodate working from home for this role, flexibility to be on-site will be expected due to business needs.

This is a part-time position working 22.2 hours per week (as part of a job-share) on a fixed-term basis for two years due to Business Demand.
