As an Assistant Project Manager at the AMRC Cymru, you will have various responsibilities that demand competence and dedication.

  • Coordinate and manage project activities to ensure flawless execution and timely completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project.
  • Facilitate communication between all project collaborators to ensure clarity and alignment.
  • Develop detailed reports and presentations to provide project updates to the team, customers, and partners.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenses, ensuring financial objectives are strictly adhered to.
  • Identify and analyse potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Job Requirements

We seek candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Proven degree-level qualification in engineering or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Significant experience in project coordination or project support roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles and providing outstanding customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including advanced skills in Microsoft Project.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to write detailed reports and support presentations.
  • Strong organizational skills with a methodical and structured approach to work, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage support teams effectively across multiple projects.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and appreciate longer-term implications.
