Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 or Level 2 within UCD School of Physics.
The position is a 3-year postdoctoral researcher position in the School of Physics at University College Dublin in Ireland, hosted in the research group of Prof Andrew Mitchell. The project is funded through the Research Ireland Frontiers project “Nanoelectronic Quantum Simulators”. The project will involve studying quantum circuits as a platform for analogue simulation of fundamental models of quantum matter, and developing tools from quantum information theory and quantum thermodynamics to characterize quantum devices.
PD1 Salary range: €46,805 - €53,391 per annum or PD2 fixed salary: €54,850 per annum.
Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.

As with the PD1, if you have already completed your PD2 stage in UCD or will soon complete a PD2, or your total Postdoctoral experience, inclusive of the duration of the advertised post, would exceed 6 years, you should not apply and should refer to Research Fellow posts instead.
