This is a fixed term appointment for 18 months
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Events Administrator to join our team assisting in the delivery of a wide range of public, student, staff and alumni events, within the Department of International Relations.
The key responsibilities of the role are to assist the effective and efficient delivery of the IRD Events programme (comprising, but not limited to, public lectures, workshops, seminars, conferences and IRD community events), and to play a key role in the administration of the IRD’s 100-year anniversary programming.
The successful postholder should have experience in supporting events and working as an effective administrator, excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to plan and prioritise a varied workload, and the ability to work to deadlines. Previous experience working in a research or academic environment is also desirable.
