We are seeking an experienced and dedicated IT Officer to provide essential first-line support across the Faculty of Classics and the Faculty of Asian & Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Oxford, as part of the Humanities IT support team.
The role
This post will play a crucial role within the Humanities IT team. This is an excellent opportunity to use and strengthen your IT skills and knowledge in a range of different contexts. Training and support via the University’s IT Services will be available, and you will be part of a large community of IT staff across the collegiate University. There is also opportunity for the postholder to spend some time supporting other faculties within the Humanities Division.
This role is permanent and full-time.
About you
The successful applicant will require knowledge, experience and technical competence across a broad range of computing areas. These include user support, maintaining and troubleshooting hardware and software, server and desktop operating systems, AV support and networking.
