We are the University of Cumbria, for and from Cumbria and our localities, rooted in serving our communities, with people, place and partnership at our heart.
Now is a very exciting time to be joining us because we are delivering a new "Towards 2030" strategic plan focused on making the most of our three most valuable assets; People, Place and Partnerships, to become a catalyst for economic well-being for our region, nationally and internationally.
The multi-award-winning University of Cumbria is a wonderful blend of old and new, founded on a rich educational history with institutions dating back more than 150 years.
Having recently celebrated our 10th anniversary, we have a fast-growing research reputation, increasing profile and place alongside national and international employers as well as multi-million-pound campus investments and exciting ambitions for the future.
The Course Enquiry Centre sits at the heart of the University’s student recruitment operation and is often the first point of contact for prospective students, applicants and their supporters. As part of the Marketing and Student Recruitment Service, the team plays a vital role in shaping first impressions, supporting informed decision-making and driving progression from enquiry through to enrolment.
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Course Enquiry Centre Administrator to deliver high-quality information, advice and guidance across multiple communication channels. This role combines outstanding customer service with data accuracy, insight gathering and conversion-focused activity, including support during peak recruitment periods such as Clearing. Working closely with colleagues across Marketing, Recruitment, Admissions and Academic Institutes, you will contribute directly to achieving the University’s recruitment ambitions while ensuring every prospective student receives a confident, professional and seamless experience.
Informal Enquiries: Daniel Dutton | Head of Student Recruitment and Outreach | daniel.dutton@cumbria.ac.uk
We offer a comprehensive set of staff benefits which includes a competitive salary, 35 hour full-time working week, 33 days holiday plus bank holidays, hybrid working in line with business need, and an excellent pension scheme with 8% employer contribution.
