Our Department is internationally recognised for its scholarly contributions in the fields of Corporate Finance, Investments, Derivatives and Quantitative Finance, Financial Econometrics, Capital Markets, Governance, Institutions and Regulation, and in emerging areas such as Sustainable Finance through our Climate and Energy Finance Group (CEFGroup). Current faculty have published in leading journals, including Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Financial Markets, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, and Energy Economics. This research is supported by extensive data infrastructure, including access to WRDS, Audit Analytics, Bloomberg, Morningstar, Sustainalytics, BoardEx, Capital IQ, CRSP/Compustat, LSEG (Datastream/Refinitiv), and OptionMetrics.
The role
We are seeking to appoint a full-time, permanent Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Finance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our existing teaching and research strengths in Financial Econometrics.
The successful candidate will contribute to both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching within the Department and will supervise postgraduate research students. Candidates will also be expected to develop and sustain an independent and productive research programme.
