Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor, Sport and Exercise Science within UCD School of Public Health, Physiotherapy & Sports Sciences.
Applications are invited for a 5 year, full-time academic post as an Assistant Professor (above or below the bar) in the Discipline of Sport and Exercise Science in the UCD School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sports Science. The post holder will have a role in the sport science program, predominantly in the area of motor control, skill acquisition and biomechanics. The role will encompass lectures, tutorials and/or workshops, and practical laboratories, primarily in the School’s BSc Sport, Health and Exercise Science degree. The post holder will be expected to contribute to research led teaching within the school. The School is a multidisciplinary unit which is highly research active; the post holder will support and contribute to the research endeavours of the School, research student supervision and to school administration. The successful candidate will be expected to participate actively in the academic life of the School and make a contribution to School admi nistration.
