The Opportunity:
The University of Edinburgh has been awarded funding from the KC Wong Foundation to develop models of human metabolic liver disease. We are seeking an independent and motivated Post-Doctoral Research Fellow to be part of a team developing male and female models of human liver disease. Liver tissues are produced from pluripotent stem cells and the technologies are well established in the laboratory. The successful applicant will contribute to the development of new ideas, approaches, and concepts. They will contribute to the overall direction and management of this research project, and to disseminating the outputs of the research.
Eligible candidates must be currently be employed as a full-time researcher at Zhejiang University and will have a guaranteed researcher position upon return to Zhejiang University following the 1-year project.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week).
