About the role
This role provides operational and administrative support for the planning and delivery of Global Programmes Summer School activity. This specifically includes the Undergraduate Summer School, the Physics Summer School and online Global Classrooms. The role will support enquiries, admissions and enrolment processes, as well as the management of a variety of events and event services, including Summer School orientations, course excursions and field-trips. The role will ensure that operational processes and administrative services operate efficiently and smoothly across all Global Programmes. To serve as a point of contact and link between students, staff members, internal departments, and external international contacts. The role will also provide management of social media activity and marketing planning.
About you
You will be a confident worker who is comfortable managing their own workloads through a project-management based approach, whilst also acting as a team player. The Global Programs team is a small and dynamic area of activity and due to the variety of workloads the post would be suited to a self-motivated and proactive team player. You will have an interest in working with and supporting international students, creating a positive and welcoming experience to students many of whom may be leaving their home countries for the very first time.

Eligibility
This role may be eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route. The assigned SOC code is 4159 Other administrative occupations not elsewhere classified, and the going rate is £33,400.
