Applications are invited for the full-time, permanent post working in Digital Infrastructure as part of the Directorate of Estates and Digital Infrastructure at Bangor University.
The role holder will join the team as a member of the Edge device team as an Edge Device Senior Technician.
In this role you will be expected to facilitate the procurement, deployment, support and maintenance of over 4000 computers (Windows / Mac and Linux) and 200 fully equipped teaching spaces within the University’s estate.
You must be educated to A – level standard (NVQ level 4) or have equivalent experience. You should ideally have several years’ experience working in an enterprise environment using enterprise deployment solutions including Intune and JAMF.
The successful candidate will be expected to commence as soon as possible.
The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.
This role will be located on campus at Bangor. Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
