We are based within a fantastic global city and are a warm, supportive and inclusive Law School community. Within Sports Law & Creative Cultures, we are keen to build on one of the largest and most established groups of academic sports lawyers in the country, with links to the University's Institute of Sport, leading law firms, and international partners.
We are looking for candidates with a developing track record of high-quality research and a clear research agenda, with the potential to contribute to internationally excellent outputs and to develop a strong longer-term research profile, including engagement with funding opportunities.
We have a number of priority teaching needs, particularly in Sports Law, Intellectual Property Law, Public Law, the Law of Tort, and EU / Free Movement Law. We are keen to hear from applicants who are enthusiastic about teaching in these areas and contributing to their development within the School.
More broadly, we welcome candidates with the knowledge and enthusiasm to contribute to our sector-leading legal technology modules at undergraduate and postgraduate level. All appointees will be expected to deliver high-quality teaching across core undergraduate modules, with opportunities to contribute to elective teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
