The Nuffield Department of Population Health (NDPH) contains world-renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching.
The NDPH Fellowship programme is intended to support suitably experienced individuals to develop an independent research area which will enhance Population Health research in Oxford. Under the guidance of senior colleagues, you will carry out individual and/or collaborative research activity within a wider research programme.
Trainee Fellowships are awarded for 1 year and you will contribute to a research project that will enhance Population Health research in Oxford. Applicants should have an MSc in a subject relevant to Population Health (e.g. medical statistics, epidemiology, health economics, sociology, demography, bioethics) and be planning to apply for a DPhil in Population Health in 2026.
You will be required to upload a CV, a Supporting Statement and a Research Plan as part of your application. The Supporting Statement should outline your interest in the Fellowship and clearly explain how you meet the selection criteria, while the Research Plan should summarise your proposed work in line with the guidance provided.
The position is full-time (part-time considered) and fixed term for 1 year.
