We are seeking an inspirational academic leader and role model to develop and deliver the School's Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) programme. This is a rare opportunity to shape a genuinely pioneering initiative, one of the first of its kind in the UK, which will create new pathways into medicine for high-achieving biomedical science students and directly address NHS workforce needs. The expected launch date for the pathway is September 2027.

Selected students will enter a bespoke transition year before joining Year 3 of the undergraduate medical degree with credible prior learning and graduating as medical practitioners after a further three years of study on the BMBS programme.
