Introduction

The University of Electronic Science and Technology of China is located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, P. R. China. Chengdu is globally known as the hometown of giant pandas. The university is a Tier-1 national key universities, and it is recognized as “the cradle of China’s national electronic industry”.
The Institute of Electronic Information for Intelligent System(IEIIS) is a newly- established special talent zone, focusing on research of INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS, strengthening the technologies in hardware artificial intelligence, intelligent software-hardware integration, and low-power intelligent systems.

Opening Faculty Position (Tenure-Track System)

Openings for Endowed Full Professor/Tenured Associate Professor/ Tenure-Track Associate Professor/Assistant Professor. All ranks are full senior-level.

  • Promotion Path:
    • Assistant and Tenure-Track Associate Professors may advance to Tenured Associate Professor after successful tenure review.
    • Outstanding Tenure-Track Associate Professors are eligible for accelerated promotion directly to Full Professor.
  • Qualifications:
    • Full Professor/Tenured Associate ProfessorCurrent Professor/Associate Professor at top-tier institutions with significant international impact and team leadership capabilities; administrative experience (e.g., Department Chair) is highly valued.
    • Assistant Professor/Tenure-Track Associate Professor for exceptional cases, requires idealy 36+ months of overseas academic work experience; must demonstrate potential for field leadership.
    • Assistant Professor, top-tier talent among peers with strong potential for future academic leadership.
