About us
King’s Language Centre (LC) has an exciting development opportunity available to join the programme administration team as a Programmes Officer.
Part of Centre for International Education and Languages (CIEL), the LC provides language tuition to King’s students via assessed language modules and postgraduate-only modules, external facing short courses and evening programmes open to the public, and language tuition for prestigious external institutions and organisations.
About the role
LC’s programme administration team ensures consistent management and delivery of our wide range of language programmes and short courses through high quality administrative support. Our Programmes Officers are responsible for providing a professional, supportive, responsive and personable service, incorporating front-line support as the first point of contact for students, short course participants, and academic staff. The role includes regular interaction with prospective learners and members of the public, responding to enquiries and supporting a positive customer experience.
Supporting processes across the whole academic cycle, and ensuring accurate and timely record management across multiple systems, is also a key part of the role. This includes a particular focus on timetabling, enrolment and participant administration, including managing course changes and refunds where required. The role also involves supporting content on electronic platforms, providing learner support and responding to enquiries from prospective and enrolled participants, and contributing to course evaluation and analysis
