About Us
St John’s Institute of Dermatology is a world leading skin research centre focusing on three, interrelated areas with high unmet needs where we have the critical mass of clinical and scientific interdisciplinary excellence - immune-mediated diseases, cancer and rare disease. We aim to better understand fundamental disease mechanisms, over time and then identify when and how best to intervene.
About the role
This role will provide project management support for the research portfolio at St John’s Institute of Dermatology, which includes validation/early proof-of-concept studies, observational studies, clinical trials, and digital transformation initiatives across our key themes: skin inflammation, skin cancer, and rare skin disease. The post holder will support the activities of various projects within the department’s portfolio, helping to ensure these projects are delivered according to milestones. This will include the set-up, implementation and running of studies across participating sites, research contract co-ordination, and supporting the department’s communication activities, including the dissemination of research findings and the promotion of science and research via our social media channels and website. The role requires a motivated and proactive individual with a firm grounding and interest in collaborative clinical research, and the ability to work independently.
This role can be offered as a developmental role, supporting progression from Grade 5 to Grade 6 responsibilities in project leadership for early career candidates.
This is a full time role and you will be offered a fixed term contract until the 31st March 2028.
