This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) post, which is available from July 2026. This post is offered as a fixed term contract and is funded by the NIHR until 30 November 2029. In line with the University’s fair employment for all principles, any further funding opportunities identified will be reviewed and discussed during the contract.
We welcome applications from candidates interested in working part-time hours although the minimum time commitment would be 4 days a week (0.8 FTE).
The post
The Faculty wishes to recruit a Graduate Research Assistant or Postdoctoral Research Associate to support the work of Dr Anna Price. This NIHR funded post is available from 1st July 2026 to 31st Dec 2029. The successful applicant will support delivery of the SmartADHD programme: ‘Co-developing a digital health intervention for young people with ADHD’. The post includes coordination of research activities, supporting digital co-design, liaising with stakeholders, updating study communications, conducting analyses, and writing up findings.
The successful candidate has the option of enrolling as a PhD student, with tuition fees funded. We welcome applications from interested candidates. About you
For the Graduate Research Assistant role:
Applicants will be educated to first degree level or possess an equivalent qualification/experience in a related field of study or equivalent experience and be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge in the discipline and of research methods and techniques to work within established research programmes. Applicants will be able to support delivery of mixed methods co-development research, including liaising with stakeholders, working with qualitative/quantitative data and holding skills in digital communication. Familiarity with Figma, NVivo, basic web-design, and/or Cadima/Endnote would be an advantage.
For the Postdoctoral Research Associate role:
Applicants will possess a relevant PhD (or nearing completion) or possess an equivalent qualification/experience in a related field of study and be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge in the discipline and of research methods and techniques to work within established research programmes. Applicants will be able to support delivery of mixed methods co-development research, including liaising with stakeholders, working with qualitative/quantitative data and holding skills in digital communication. Familiarity with Figma, NVivo, basic web-design, and/or Cadima/Endnote would be an advantage.
