We are seeking a Course Team Leader to lead the coordination and continuous development of the curriculum across GCSE and Functional Skills programmes.
The role includes teaching across a range of programmes and playing a central role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of provision. You will work closely with the Section Manager to support quality assurance activities, including course health checks and external verification. In addition, you will contribute to the design and development of an engaging curriculum, incorporating extracurricular activities and meaningful employer engagement.
You will possess a degree in English or a relevant subject, together with a Level 5 or above teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector (e.g. DET, PGCE). You will have a minimum of two years’ experience of teaching GCSE English and Functional Skills, preferably within a Further Education setting, as well as having some experience of curriculum co-ordination and development.
