About the role:

Do you have excellent administrative insight and wish to diversify your skill set? The Department of Life Sciences is seeking a highly organised Operations Assistant to provide high level operational support. You will support the coordination of key activities across HR and departmental administration, helping to ensure the smooth, effective and compliant running of a busy department.

What you would be doing:

You would be providing vital administrative and operational support to the Head of Department’s (HoD) office. This includes the Executive Assistant to the HoD and Director of Operations (DoO). The key areas of responsibility are in administration, project support, recruitment and selection, Human Resources, office management, finance, along with some general responsibilities.

Further Information

This is a full-time, open-ended post (35 hours per week).

Requests to work part-time would be considered at a minimum of 0.6FTE.

Please note you will normally be expected to spend 60% of your time on-site in this role.
