The role
The opening of this post represents an excellent opportunity for those wishing to develop a career in Higher Education at one of the UK's top Universities.
You will work closely with your Line Manager, and academic and administrative staff, in order to deliver a high quality and efficient service to students, staff and external clients. Working in the centrally based Student Scheduling team will mean you providing excellent administrative support to taught programmes and activities will include maintaining student, programme and module information, and supporting staff in the organisation of programmes.
The successful candidate will therefore need to be able to demonstrate an ability to work to a high level of detail, and strong customer focus and understanding of what students and staff need, computing skills (in particular databases). The role will require excellent interpersonal and organisational ability.
You will need to be adaptable to different situations and should be well organised and methodical in your approach.
Relevant administrative experience would be a distinct advantage.
