LSE Extended Education is a highly successful and commercially focused division which delivers a range of programmes, including the Summer School and Transnational Education (TNE) via our Global Programmes to diverse global audiences, bringing combined revenues of £45m to the School annually.

With approximately 9,000 students in 40+ countries studying LSE-designed degrees either at Recognised Teaching Centres (RTC) or Online, we’ve built a proud history of opening access to world-class education. We’re embarking on a major transformation programme that will reshape the future of LSE’s distance and online degrees. We are looking to recruit a Business Intelligence Manager to support the delivery and enhancement of reporting and business intelligence across Extended Education, helping to translate data into clear, consistent and actionable outputs for planning, evaluation and decision-making.

This new post will appeal to data professionals with strong practical experience in delivering high-quality reporting and business intelligence outputs within defined operational frameworks. The role will play a key part in enhancing programme reporting, turning stakeholder requirements into clear reporting specifications, and supporting the consistent, accurate and effective use of data across Extended Education.

The ideal candidate will have skills and experience including:

  • Substantial practical experience delivering business intelligence and reporting within defined operational frameworks.
  • Experience translating stakeholder requirements into clear reporting specifications or analytical briefs.
  • Ability to present complex data clearly through dashboards and concise written summaries, including explaining definitions, assumptions and limitations to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience acting as a liaison between business users and system or data teams to support delivery of reporting solutions.

We offer an attractive pension scheme, generous annual leave and excellent training and development opportunities.

Please note there is a minimum requirement for the postholder to work on site at least three days per week during non-peak times and 4 days a week during peak periods for the unit.
