  • Collect research data using standardised assessment measures as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the research team and other staff within St Christopher’s.
  • Liaise with external partners, such as the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), Research Delivery Network (RDN), and research teams in other hospices.
  • Assist in the development of research capacity and capability within the organisation.
  • Promote a positive image of the research team, St Christopher’s, and the field of palliative and end-of-life care.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in research support, clinical research coordination, or a similar role.
  • Understanding of Good Clinical Practice guidelines and experience working with research protocols.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work flexibly and effectively across different research projects.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • A passion for palliative and end-of-life care, and a commitment to improving research in this field.
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach to work with the ability to work independently when necessary.

Why Work with Us?

  • Be part of a pioneering research team dedicated to advancing palliative and end-of-life care.
  • Work in a collaborative and supportive environment with opportunities for professional development.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • A chance to make a real difference in the lives of people receiving palliative care and their families.
