About the Role
Hartpury University is looking for an individual to deliver and enhance learning, teaching and assessment across undergraduate and postgraduate level, within the field of sport and exercise nutrition and exercise physiology.
- The role will include delivery in the sport and exercise science disciplines, specifically Exercise Metabolism and Biochemistry at postgraduate level and Sport and Exercise Physiology at undergraduate level, in both classroom and laboratory environments.
- The role includes academic administrative duties, including module leadership, and as such, the successful candidate will have demonstrated a track record for supporting a high-quality student experience.
- The role requires impactful engagement with research or equivalent scholarly activity to support excellence in teaching and learning and the student experience.
About You
- You will have a relevant sport and exercise postgraduate qualification.
- Ideally, you will be near completion of a level 8 qualification or have equivalent professional standing in a relevant subject area.
- You will have an emerging track record of active engagement in scholarship, research and knowledge exchange.
- You may have experience of applied sport and exercise nutrition and maybe working towards or have achieved professional body accreditation such as SENr.
- You will hold a teaching qualification or be willing to complete one within two years of appointment.
- You will be able to provide evidence of making a positive contribution to student outcomes.
- You will have a willingness to engage with external partners and industry connections.
