Who we’re looking for:
We are looking for an organised and analytical professional with experience supporting quality assurance, compliance, or academic administration, ideally within higher education or another regulated environment. You will have a strong eye for detail, confidence working with data and evidence to identify risk, and the ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of stakeholders. A degree, or equivalent professional experience, and a commitment to fairness, transparency, and enhancing the student experience are essential.
What you’d be doing:
You will support the effective oversight of academic quality and standards across the University’s collaborative partners, with a particular focus on partner compliance and risk management. Your day to day work will include monitoring partner risk indicators and KPIs, supporting annual risk assessments and due diligence processes, coordinating partner training, and contributing to audits, assessment sampling, and improvement planning. Working closely with colleagues across the Quality and Academic Standards Unit, academic departments, and external partners, you will help ensure regulatory compliance and promote consistent, high quality academic practice across partner provision.

In this role, you’ll be based in the Quality and Academic Standards Unit, on our green campus in the north of Plymouth.
Our current hybrid working policy means you can work from home or on campus, but you will be required to maintain strong campus links and be available on-site at least 2 days per week.
