The role
The College Operations Team invites applicants for the role of Operations Assistant. The successful applicant will assist in day-to day administrative tasks to support the Operations Departments, which spans:
- Accommodation
- Estates Planning
- Maintenance
- Housekeeping
- Portering and Security
- Conferencing and Events
- Catering
- IT
It is envisaged that the role will particularly support the Accommodation Manager.
The Accommodation Manager has responsibility for the College’s student accommodation management and allocation of rooms; she works collaboratively with various departments to ensure a positive and professionally managed experience for all.
This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week. The salary for this position is £30,125 FTE.
The College
Gonville & Caius College is one of the largest Colleges in the University of Cambridge. It is an educational charity, and its mission is to provide a place of education, religion, learning and research, in conjunction with a university that is recognised internationally as being of the highest standard.
The College is an academic community comprising some 530 undergraduate students, 250 graduate students, and 110 Fellows (lecturers, professors and other senior academic researchers and teachers) and almost 200 staff. It plays a significant role throughout the University.
