In collaboration with Intebloc Limited, we have an exciting opportunity at the University of Aberdeen, with the School of Engineering for a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Associate.

The Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) scheme helps businesses in the UK to innovate and grow by linking them with an academic or research organisation and a graduate. A KTP enables a business to bring in new skills and the latest academic thinking to deliver a specific, strategic innovation project through a knowledge-based partnership.

This innovative KTP project aims to develop an innovative, AI-powered data ingestion and automation system, further complemented by a multilingual translation solution for Safety checklists used on site in the Energy industry, and is critical in supporting Intebloc’s global market growth.

This technically challenging KTP will provide a unique opportunity for an ambitious Data Scientist to fast-track their career as a KTP Associate, with a specific focus on the integration of AI methods on Safety critical tasks, within an industry setting. Based at the Intebloc premises in Aberdeen, Scotland, the KTP Associate will lead the delivery of this project and help transform the company’s Safety services to the Energy sector. The successful candidate will undertake a 24-month collaborative project between Intebloc and the University of Aberdeen, jointly funded by Innovate UK and Test Inc., and will also benefit from a dedicated Personal Development Budget.

Salary will be at Grade 6, off scale, at a rate of £39,725 per annum.
