Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in Media and Communication
Job Description
The Department of Communication at BNBU invites applications from student-centered scholar-practitioners broadly trained in one or more of the following fields: 1) communication theory; 2) AI-centered approaches to media studies; and 3) media production. There are opportunities to develop innovative pedagogy and collaborative research.
Job Requirement
All applicants should hold a PhD degree in Media and Communications with a commensurable research profile. Other requirements include a firm commitment to teaching and tutoring students as well as engaging in theory-based qualitative or quantitative research. Teaching responsibilities may include courses related to communication theories, research methods, video production, graphic design, and others of the applicant’s own interests. Research and practical experience in AI and digital media-related areas will be an added asset. Preference will be given to candidates who can undertake original research leading to high-quality outcomes.
