Oxford Population Health (Nuffield Department of Population Health) contains world-renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching. The Clinical Trial Service Unit (CTSU) is a major international research institute within Oxford Population Health, and is one of the world’s leading centres for research into chronic diseases, especially diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease and cancer.
We are seeking a Clinical Research Fellow to work on EASi-KIDNEY, a large international, multi-centre randomised double-blind placebo-controlled renal trial based within the Renal Studies Group at the Clinical Trial Service Unit and Epidemiological Studies Unit. The successful applicant will be part of a strong and established research team that aims to carry out research, which is both of the highest methodological quality and has the greatest possible influence, assisting in the ongoing development of the trials, including developing and implementing trial procedures.
To be considered for this role you will be medically qualified and GMC registered with a valid licence to practice. You will also need a good grounding and relevant experience in clinical medicine with excellent communication and organisational skills.
The post is full time (although part time will be considered) and fixed term for up to 12 months. The closing date for applications is noon on 08 May 2026.
For an informal discussion, please contact Professor William Herrington (will.herrington@ndph.ox.ac.uk) and/or Dr Parminder Judge (paminder.judge@ndph.ox.ac.uk).
You will be required to upload a CV and Supporting Statement as part of your online application. The Supporting Statement should include a cover letter and should also clearly describe how you meet each of the selection criteria listed in the job description.
