The Institute of Education at the University of Winchester provides outstanding Initial Teacher Education and CPD. We are looking for enthusiastic, research-informed experts on current teaching and teacher education to join our team of academics who are committed to enabling our students to transform children’s lives through their practice.
We are seeking someone whose enthusiasm and insights will help further enhance our primary ITE provision through ambitious programmes that reflect our values, and provide carefully sequenced, imaginative approaches to ITE. The person appointed will be a highly skilled primary practitioner with strengths in a range of curriculum areas. We are currently seeking to appoint a lecturer with specific expertise in geography, and additionally other national curriculum subjects. Applicants should have recent experience in curriculum design that has a demonstrable impact on children’s learning, and campus- and school-based initial teacher education. Applications for part-time roles will be considered.
