The English Department at the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Tübingen invites applications for a full professorship as of 1 April 2027:
W3-Full Professor for English Literature and Culture of the 16th to 18th Centuries and Gender Studies
Candidates should have a speciality in the research and teaching of 16th-to-18th-century English Literature and Culture with a focus on Gender Studies. It is expected that candidates are willing to participate in collaborative research projects in the university.
Required qualifications include a PhD as well as postdoctoral qualifications and teaching experience (documented by, for example, teaching evaluations) equivalent to the requirements of a full professorship.
