Full Professor for English Literature and Culture of the 16th to 18th Centuries and Gender Studies

The English Department at the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Tübingen invites applications for a full professorship as of 1 April 2027:

W3-Full Professor for English Literature and Culture of the 16th to 18th Centuries and Gender Studies

Candidates should have a speciality in the research and teaching of 16^th-to-18^th-century English Literature and Culture with a focus on Gender Studies. It is expected that candidates are willing to participate in collaborative research projects in the university.

Required qualifications include a PhD as well as postdoctoral qualifications and teaching experience (documented by, for example, teaching evaluations) equivalent to the requirements of a full professorship.
