This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

This exciting role will be required to work within the Facilities Directorate Marketing, Sales and Communications team, and specifically provide marketing, PR and communications support for the Conferences and Events service at the University of Leeds.
This role is key in driving enquiries and sales, and increasing the Conferences and Events profile, both internally and externally to the University of Leeds.
Working with the Head of Conferences and Events, the Assistant Heads of Conferences and Events and the Business Development team, this role will lead on the production of a comprehensive, pro-active marketing plan for all areas across Conferences and Events. In addition, the role contributes to the wider marketing program for the service, evaluating the impact of activities undertaken and contributing to the general operation of the service and more widely the Facilities Directorate.
You will have experience working in marketing within a B2B environment, with experience of managing marketing campaigns that deliver tangible results. You will also have experience in copywriting and delivering comprehensive market research. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to positively influence others and develop effective working relationships.
This role is required for 35 hours each week and as part of this role, you may be required to work occasional weekends and/or during an evening to support with events.
