Research Impact Fellow - Nature and Climate Impact Team
The University's Nature and Climate Impact Team is looking to recruit a full-time or part-time post with immediate effect. This post is offered as a fixed-term contract and is funded by the Hoffmann Nature and Climate Impact Team until 31st March 2027.
The starting salary will be from £43,482 to £48,822 on Grade F, depending on knowledge, skills and experience.

This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working - some time on campus and some from home.
The Role
Faculty for Environment, Science and Economy
The Faculty wishes to recruit a Research Impact Fellow to participate in the Nature and Climate Impact Team, led by Professor Gail Whiteman. The successful applicant will be lead in the team and focus on driving impact in the Digital Technologies sector. They will work with other Research Impact Fellows leading work in different sectors, including food and consumer packaging and electronics.
The role will place a key role in developing and implementing research-informed strategies, events and campaigns to promote low-carbon and nature-positive initiatives, including engagement with key stakeholders and businesses.
About You
The successful applicant will have experience with corporate sustainability initiatives in the Digital Technology sector, and an awareness of interdisciplinary, complex impact programmes. They should have experience of making impact within the corporate sustainability space, working with research-based organisations, and supporting the integration of science-based solutions or approaches.
Applicants will possess a relevant PhD or possess an equivalent qualification/experience in a related field of study. The successful applicant will be a nationally recognised authority in insert subject area and possess sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to develop research programmes and methodologies. The successful applicant will also be able to work collaboratively, supervise the work of others and act as team leader as required. Applicants will be able to insert skills and knowledge required.
