The Role and Department
The Department is one of the UK's leading Mathematics departments with an outstanding reputation in teaching, research, and employability of our students. It has an active programme of internationally recognized research in Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics and Probability. Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Mathematics, with a focus on probability. The successful applicant will have demonstrated expertise in probability, statistical mechanics, and/or mathematical physics. The position is funded by an EPSRC NIA grant held by Dr. Tyler Helmuth. The successful applicant will be expected to conduct and disseminate research in collaboration with the PI, and to develop and contribute their own research ideas and experience to the project.
