We have a great opportunity for a Researcher with a background in sport science, exercise or clinical physiology, and experience in working with clinical populations.
You will be responsible for running the NIHR-funded CALIBRE-IC study on a day-to-day basis, which will aim to co-produce, alongside people with Intermittent Claudication and clinicians, an innovative home-based, lifestyle intervention.
You will need to have a very good understanding and experience of how exercise can be used as part of a treatment journey for clinical populations, have excellent communication skills and ideally some qualitative research experience, including running focus groups and workshops.
You will be a member of the Lifestyle, Exercise and Nutrition Improvement (LENI) Research Group, which sits within our College of Health, Wellbeing and Life Sciences.
The LENI Research Group has a track record of developing lifestyle interventions aiming to support clinical and pre-clinical populations, targeting non-communicable diseases.

As this is a collaborative project with Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, you will be working closely with vascular surgeons and nurses, led by Professor Shah Nawaz.
