Leeds Arts University is the only specialist arts university in the North of England. We have contributed significantly to the development of arts education for over 180 years, and have developed a national and international reputation based on the achievements of our students and staff.
We are looking to recruit a part time receptionist to join our front of house reception service. The successful applicant will have previous experience of working in a front of house team and have a customer facing outlook, being able to demonstrate excellent customer service and organisation skills with the ability to meet and exceed customer expectations.
You will be part of a small team of reception staff who are the first point of contact for students, staff and visitors to the University. The team is responsible for dealing with enquiries, deliveries and post to the University, and handling calls on the University switchboard. You will provide information, guidance and direction to people within and visiting the University including the welcome at public events such as Private Views in our Gallery and for End of Year shows, offering guidance, advice and information to guests and visitors. This role is primarily based at our Vernon Street site reception, but you will be required to cover shifts at Blenheim Walk from time to time.
