The Division of Cardiovascular Sciences within the University of Manchester wish to appoint a Research Associate to an exciting BHF-funded project exploring the mechanisms of heart failure related to metabolic stress. The position will be primarily based in the group of Dr. Min Zi, Prof. Xin Wang and Prof. Elizebeth Cartwright, which is a multidisciplinary group with an excellent publication record, employing complementary in vivo, cellular, and molecular approaches to elucidate the mechanisms underlying heart disease. During this position, the post-holder will lead the project with intellectual input, overseeing the entire workflow from experimental design through data analysis and interpretation, and manuscript writing for publication.
