About the Role
We are seeking an Operations Officer and EA to provide high-level administrative support to the Director, ensuring delivery of operational procedures and processes for the institute. This will include providing day-to-day operational management, finance administration and HR coordination to enable the rapid growth and long term success of PHURI.
About You
The post holder will be experienced in working as an EA at a senior level, ideally in higher education with experience in managing complex diaries. The post holder will ensure that PHURI functions in an efficient and effective manner, that the Director and other staff receive the required level of support and that the external perception of the PHURI (by Queen Mary and external stakeholders) is of the highest standards.
We’re looking for an organised, reliable and enthusiastic team member with strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will work closely with the PHURI Institute Manager and wider operational teams to provide efficient, high-quality support to the world leading researchers within PHURI.
About the Department
Precision Healthcare ensures the right treatment is given to the right person at the right time.
The Precision Healthcare University Research Institute (PHURI) aims to improve health through data-driven medicine. This integrated approach is a distinguishing feature of PHURI in which we use our linked health and molecular patient data to develop innovative technologies that will transform existing care pathways.
We are an ambitious, curious and enthusiastic international team, that promotes excellence in the context of a happy, balanced, and collegiate institute.
