About the Role
The IP Manager is an important position at QMI and is responsible for managing Queen Mary University of London’s IP portfolio (in particular patents) and having ownership of keeping the IP database accurate for disclosures, patenting and agreements. The role would also have internal and external reporting requirements.
The post-holder will work with external patent agents, IP Inventors and QMI’s Commercialisation Managers.
About You
You will be a highly motivated individual who is experienced in managing a diverse IP portfolio, has strong attention to detail and, ideally, has worked in the technology transfer department of a university.
The post holder should have the ability to work closely with internal and external stakeholders, manage multiple (IP) deadlines, and produce accurate reports from the IP database.
