Lucy Cavendish College invites applications for the post of Admissions Officer.
The successful candidate will lead on the planning and administration of all of the College’s undergraduate processes, including the Cambridge Graduate Course in Medicine and the Foundation Year.
The majority of our undergraduate students are admitted from backgrounds that are either disadvantaged or underrepresented at Cambridge and we have higher proportions of students from the maintained sector and from the University’s target demographics than any other College. We seek a driven individual who shares our values and will contribute to the dynamic team that is tasked with maintaining and furthering these successes.
The postholder will bring substantial administrative experience, ideally in admissions, and/or a proven track record of success in recruitment activities. They will be highly organised, capable of managing competing priorities, and committed to producing accurate, high-quality work with careful attention to detail. Familiarity with the University’s systems and processes would be advantageous, though the ability to quickly learn and navigate complex procedures is equally important. Strong IT skills and confidence working with data are essential. Above all, they will share our commitment to broadening participation and transforming the profile of the Cambridge student body.
