Post Summary
The School of Medicine wishes to make a cross disciplinary clinical/ academic appointment at Senior Lecturer/ Consultant level to the disciplines of Medical Education and Pharmacology & Therapeutics.
The postholder will ensure high-quality coherent delivery of existing activities across teaching, research, and clinical practice. As well as developing their own research interests they will play a critical role in strengthening the relationship between the School of Medicine, clinical faculty, and corporate leadership at St James’s Hospital.
Post status: Specific-Purpose Contract
The specific purpose of this post is to fill a Senior Lecturer / Consultant vacancy on a temporary basis pending the return of the postholder from a period of secondment.

Salary: This appointment will be made on the Senior Lecturer / Consultant, Public Only Consultant Contract (POCC23), Academic, salary scale at a point in line with current Government pay Policy. https://healthservice.hse.ie/staff/pay/pay-scales/
