The role
The University of Surrey is looking to recruit a talented and experienced Student Recruitment Advisor on a fixed term contract (up to June 2027) to contribute towards the University meeting its recruitment and admissions targets by attending a series of recruitment activities under the overall direction of the Student Recruitment Manager.
About you
The post holder will be supporting the delivery of school and college events and will build strong relationships with high performing schools. The post holder will also support the delivery of student recruitment events, such as Open Days, Applicant Days and campus tours. In addition, they will assist the wider team in several key recruitment activities such as the creation and management of marketing materials, virtual events, conversion activity and clearing. You will also contribute towards the University meeting its recruitment and admissions targets.
Extensive travel/weekend/evening work will be required as directed by the Student Recruitment Manager.
What you’ll need to succeed-
With some previous experience in an administrative role, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisation skills and be a confident computer user (word and excel). You will be confident working independently, have excellent presentation skills and be prepared to travel. A driving licence and a flexible approach to working hours is essential.
