Position summary

The KAPSARC School of Public Policy (KSPP) invites applications for a faculty position in public administration. We welcome candidates from any subfield of public administration, including those with research interests that intersect with public leadership, public policy, public affairs, public strategy and planning, collaborative governance, conflict and change management, decision science, and/or economics.The KSPP offers a highly competitive MPP program and executive education programs.

Situated in the thriving capital city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on the state-of-the-art KAPSARC campus, the KSPP is well placed to offer students an exceptional educational experience and faculty an exceptional work environment. Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate must also have a strong theoretical orientation, excellent methodological skills, the ability to publish in highly ranked journals and academic presses, and the potential for effective teaching at the graduate level.
  • Faculty members are required to teach courses related to their research field, contribute to courses in public sector management and leadership, supervise capstone projects and theses, and contribute to the overall academic environment of the School.
Qualifications
  • The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in public administration, public policy, public affairs, political science, government, economics, or a related field.
