We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join our Planning Team and play a key role in delivering the University’s reporting and business intelligence roadmap.

This is a delivery-focused, fixed-term (12 Months) role aimed at accelerating the development of a pipeline of high-quality Power BI reports and dashboards. You will be instrumental in transitioning the University from legacy reporting tools to a modern, scalable Power BI environment, aligned to our BU2035 Institutional Insight and Analytics Programme.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Power BI developer to hit the ground running and take ownership of a portfolio of reporting developments. You will:

  • Design and deliver high-quality Power BI dashboards and reports for a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Lead the redevelopment and enhancement of existing reports, ensuring outputs are modern, user-focused and insight-driven.
  • Build and optimise data models and semantic layers to support robust and scalable reporting.

  • Explore opportunities to enhance reporting through Microsoft 365 tools, including Power Automate.

About You

We are looking for someone with significant hands-on experience in Power BI development who can quickly add value and deliver at pace. You will have:

  • Proven experience developing Power BI reports, dashboards and data models.
  • Strong skills in DAX and data modelling best practice.
  • Experience working with SQL and complex datasets.
