About the role
A 1-year fixed-term teaching and research appointment in English literature, with a core focus on the early modern period, is available for an outstanding academic at an early stage of their career. The appointee will be expected to provide undergraduate and graduate teaching on a range of topics in English language and literature for the English Faculty and University College.
About you
You will hold (or be near completion) of a Doctorate level degree in English literature or a related field, and have a proven research and publication record in early modern English literature. Experience with delivering undergraduate lecturing and teaching, and the ability to teach undergraduate students at the highest level, in classes and tutorials.
