The Centre for Process Analytics and Control Technology (CPACT – www.cpact.com) is a multi-disciplinary collaboration involving 21 universities/research institutes and 44 companies. The administrative centre of CPACT is based at the University of Strathclyde within the Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry. The activities of CPACT involve research, knowledge transfer and training in the areas of analytical chemistry, data analysis, process optimisation, and process performance monitoring. Experts in leading universities work with technology vendors and manufacturing companies in the energy, fine/speciality chemicals, petrochemicals, agrochemicals, food and pharma/healthcare sectors to advance the use of real-time process analysis and process optimisation technologies in manufacturing. In essence, CPACT is an international community of practice based on collaboration between manufacturing companies that deploy advanced measurement and control technology, vendors of the technology – hardware and software, and innovators of new technological solutions for process analysis and control.

CPACT wishes to appoint an Admin Assistant to support engagement with the member organisations, promote CPACT, and contribute along with other members of the admin team to the organisation of various activities which include committee meetings, webinars, other on-line events, in-person courses, workshops and the APACT conference. You will be IT literate, with experience of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word, Outlook and Excel. It would also be good if you have a knowledge of Canva.
