Cambridge Public Health (CPH) is an Interdisciplinary Research Centre at the University of Cambridge that connects people, ideas and opportunities to strengthen public health research and its impact. Working across all six Schools, uniquely hosted in Department of Engineering and with external partners including local authorities, the NHS, public health professionals and policymakers, it supports interdisciplinary collaboration and partnership-working to help address urgent public health challenges.
Based at the Department's Central Cambridge site, we are looking for an individual to take on the role of CPH Coordinator to support the coordination, organisation and delivery of CPH's activities, helping to build and maintain relationships across the University and beyond, and to create opportunities for collaboration, networking and knowledge exchange. You will also contribute to the implementation of CPH's strategic priorities by supporting priority areas, events, networks, funding development and day-to-day coordination, helping to strengthen the contribution of public health research to policy, practice and population health.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in a scientific or health related subject or possess an equivalent level of experience. A PhD or equivalent research experience would be desirable. You will have experience of working within Public Health research with an understanding of the public health landscape as well as extensive experience of managing complex, cross-functional projects and delivering to deadlines. You will have excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills with the ability to lead, support and motivate others.
If you feel you are the right candidate for this role, we would welcome an application from you.
