About this role
We are seeking an experienced Digital Learning Lead to join our Organisational Development and Learning team to help transform how we support the development of our staff
You will lead the design, development, implementation and continuous improvement of high-quality digital learning solutions across the University, supporting our strategic ambitions and ensuring compliance with mandatory learning. You will be creative and innovative in how we harness digital capability and evolving technology to provide the most impactful and accessible learning experience for staff and partners.
Working in partnership with subject matter experts and L&D colleagues, you will act as a trusted adviser on digital learning best practice, leading conversations that help shape content into effective learning experiences. They will design pathways and platforms that bring together OD&L initiatives and enable self-directed learning. Taking a consultative approach, you will focus on adding value and ensuring that digital learning solutions are accessible, inclusive, evidence informed and measurable, and in doing so they may need to constructively challenge requests that reduce learning impact.
Key to the role is the ability to identify and trial innovative approaches, including responsible use of AI, to improve learning efficiency, quality and reach.

We are looking for someone with confidence, not only their own technical ability, but also someone who can build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. We will expect you to create and curate engaging e learning resources and will also optimise how learning is delivered, experienced and evaluated through our learning platforms.
